The S Model

The S Model is the namesake of Sheila Kay Adams a gifted banjoist, storyteller and ballad singer from Madison County, NC.  Sheila's requirements and my fond recollections of Tom Staley's Bay State banjo were the inspiration for the S Model. 

The S Model has a 25-1/2” neck and is narrower 1-3/16” at the nut.

The S has an unadorned peghead cover and fingerboard and all standard features of Vintage line banjos.

The S1 adds a CMB moon and stars peghead inlay and matching dot position markers on the fingerboard.

The S2 includes the CMB moon and stars peghead inlay with matching square position markers on the fingerboard.
