Classic Mastertone design meets Cedar Mountain style with the Bramble, our first full bluegrass model. We’ve taken the traditional Gibson banjo design and adapted it to suit our aesthetic and sonic tastes, as well as cut the weight to a lean nine pounds. At the heart of this machine is a granadillo wood tone ring, which provides powerful projection and clear highs for a very round, full sound. Tone ring aside, our specs are very similar to those of the traditional Mastertone, with a 26 1/8″ neck scale, 1 3/16″ nut width, maple construction with matching resonator and black binding, ebony fingerboard and peghead overlay, nickel hardware, one-piece Prucha flange, two-way adjustable truss rod, dual coordinator rod neck mounts, varnish finish, and original CMB Bramble peghead and fingerboard inlays. We’ll be offering a bronze flathead tone ring upgrade option in the near future.
