The Brainjo is a special edition of the Jubilo line that is the result of a collaboration between CMB and Josh Turknett of clawhammerbanjo.net. It is handcrafted in North Carolina by Cedar Mountain, and offers a comfortable, high-quality handmade instrument at an affordable price. It features a three-piece cherry neck with matching dowel, 11″ black maple thin rim, two-way adjustable truss rod, 25.5″ neck scale, 1 5/16″ nut width, bone nut, 18 bracket hooks, frailing scoop, and high-quality nickel hardware and Gotoh tuners. The fretboard and peghead overlay are constructed of eco-friendly Richlite.
The Brainjo is available with three setup options, from “plunky” to “ringy”.
