The L Model
This classically inspired instrument has been 'evolving' since the first banjo Lo built in 1986. The L Model features a traditional style peg head and heel with a 22-fret fingerboard (without frailing scoop).
L (A Scale): The 22 ¾” x 1-1/4” 'A scale' is shorter by two frets. It is slightly narrower at the nut than the standard 25-1/2” x 1-5/16” L model. The ' A scale' is a favorite of those players who primarily play in the keys of A and D, as well as those desiring a banjo with a shorter reach.
The L peg head cover and fingerboard are unadorned. The L has all features included in Vintage-line banjos.
The L1 adds CMB moon and stars peghead inlay. The fingerboard is inlaid with matching dot position markers.
The L2 includes the CMB moon and stars as well as matching square fingerboard markers.
