“In recent years, I’ve found that I am gravitating toward shorter necks and shorter scales for all of my instruments. Since I play most of my original banjo tunes in A or D, I decided that a banjo tuned up to A would be ideal. The Cedar Mountain Banjo is incredibly high quality and very comfortable to play. The tone is sweet and punchy and I find myself not wanting to put it down. Now Amy is writing tunes on it as well. Soon, we’ll need to buy another one, I suspect”

“Tim Gardner has stepped right up & continued Lo Gordon’s tradition of quality mountain banjos & has brought his banjo building into the 21st century using local North Carolina sustainable woods and designs that are already winning awards. I love my rosewood Cedar Mountain banjo & love the way his new Bungalow model sounds and plays too. But I really have my eye on his tenor banjo uke.”
